Knowledge, Time, Focus. Ann Baker Exner has been a resident of Rockland since 1987. Ann carefully advises her clients with expert professional guidance and unlimited availability. She loves the business of Real Estate, whether managing property, helping someone find the perfect home, rentals, or pricing/marketing property. She has worked throughout Rockland County & been involved in the Nyack community since 1990. Ann is a strong, confident & diplomatic negotiator, meticulous & creative, armed with information & resources for success.
Ann’s career began in NYC where she lived for 16 years after college graduation. She found herself the leaseholder of a very large loft divided into three units, two of which she sublet to tenants & thus inadvertently began managing property. She was fortunate to work with & be mentored by legendary professionals in the fields of both Real Estate Law & her other passion, Art. As a resident in the Art World, Ann worked as a gallerist, in the photography of art for museums & galleries, and as a painter. Those experiences influenced a high quality of life & the sensitive relationships with clients seeking investment property or the personal acquisition of a new home. In Real Estate, timing is everything!
Ann joined Weld early in 2016, drawn to shared standards & values of community involvement & integrity. She nurtures a special love as a volunteer/donor/docent for the Edward Hopper House, Friends of the Nyack Library Great Book Sales, & the Historical Society of the Nyack Historical Home Tours. Ann has a daughter who recently earned her Masters at Tufts University, and is a molecular biologist in Boston.
